Former Sheridan Man Takes His Own Life
William Lane former Sheridan resident died in Indianapolis after a self inflicted death attempt. He had lived in Hamilton County, worked at Strawboard Mill in Noblesville, and endured a leg amputation. Lane, 58, is survived by a wife, daughter Merle in Indianapolis, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were by Rev. Frank Stafford at the Friends church after burial in Sheridan.

Motor Boat Engine Explodes One Killed in Kite River
In Indianapolis on June 18 a motor boat explosion on Kite River yesterday killed 17 year old Robert Fox and left his cousin Allen Fox 18 with a narrow escape. Rapid City South Dakota June 18 Two hundred members of the National Editorial Association arrived by special train and autos to stage a Buffalo steak barbecue near the state game lodge and meet President Coolidge.
