Earl Stevenson, killed at Blackfoot Idaho a week earlier, arrived in Carmel Indiana and was buried. His sister Mrs Luther Haines brought the first authentic account. The accident occurred when he stayed in a furniture and undertaking shop to watch the front under repair. he borrowed a revolver, stumbled on a board sidewalk, and the weapon discharged into his heart.

Wife Desertion Case Arrest in St Louis Thorntown Man
Alono Butner of Thorntown is arrested in St Louis on wife desertion charges. Sheriff B B McRoberts will return him to town tonight with the prisoner.
