The list includes Arthur Golden Indianapolis F W Millinger 50 Cleveland Ohio and Mrs Millinger his wife among others from Marion South Bend Portland Mishawaka Dupont Madison and Latrobe injuries varied. a youth officer’s son Amond Howard died of a swimming pool fracture. several pedestrians and drivers injured in multi car crashes near Winchester Wabash Portland and Tipton. Authorities cited blinded drivers and vehicles left along roads as contributing factors.

Dox Kersey of General Electric Indianapolis has received a splendid promotion to general manager of the Indianapolis office. He joined the company a little over a year ago as territory representative and has since served as assistant to the sales manager and then in charge of retail sales and apartment house department. On the fifteenth of this month he succeeded A. F Head as head of the Indianapolis branch as Head moved to Cleveland.

Sheriff Kidnapped During High Speed Abduction in Indiana
Sheriff Edward Luegers of Dubois county was seized by two armed hijackers near Jasper while escorting prisoners. The men forced him into a stolen car, drove about 40 miles to Boonville, wrecked the vehicle, and fled. Luegers, uninjured, was later found handcuffed. Police described the suspects as two young men with distinct hair colors and clothing. Authorities blocked bridge heads and combed southern Indiana roads for the hijackers.

Colt Kicks Man, Wounds Head Near Nesville Road
Ollie West, 62, of 118 South East Street, was severely hurt when a colt being led along Nesville road kicked him on the forehead. The horseshoe shaped wound required many stitches but no fracture occurred. He is in Williams hospital recovering from shock.

FERA Worker Dies of Food Poisoning in City Hospital
David Roache, 56, of Indianapolis, a FERA worker, died at City hospital today after contracting food poisoning. He was one of 211 men affected. earlier reports had suggested possible recovery, but Roache weakened by convulsions and heart failure led to his death. Hospital staff had hoped the illness would claim no further victims.

Peoria waitress found dead after apparent attack
In Peoria on June 17 Mildred Hallmark a 19 year old waitress was found dead in a cemetery ditch with a broken neck. Police and coroner notes say she may have been attacked though details are unclear. Shoes lay near the body and underclothes were missing. She was last seen leaving a bar Sunday night around 11.
