Children die from gas leak in Indiana home
Joseph and Marjorie Beisicker ages 11 and 7 were killed by escaping gas while asleep in Lafayette Indiana. Their mother Hattie Beisicker found the bodies after returning from the Monon Railway YMCA where she works as night cook. A gas flame in the stove apparently blew out, allowing gas to fill the kitchen and bedroom. The mother is separated from the father, thought to be at a Frankfort garage.
