Ex City Woman Killed in Flaming crash near LaGrange
A 56 year old former Lebanon resident, Lois A Kibby of Rome City, was killed when her car was struck at US 20 and County Road 200 near LaGrange Indiana. Phyllis I Shoup of Sturgis Michigan, with her five year old daughter Connie, were critically injured as their car burst into flames. Shoup's car overturned and was moved off by passing truck drivers. The child was found in a hay field and both patients were hospitalized in Fort Wayne with serious injuries. Kibby had been employed in Lebanon and Indianapolis before moving to Rome. Funeral services for Kibby are set for Thursday at Myers Chapel of Memories in Sheldon Illinois.
