The contest tests plane endurance, not the pilot, with crews changing constantly via ladders between planes. Parachutes will be used. Captain John S. Masonic Home Official at Franklin Dies After Illness
Fletcher W. Boyd aged 66, for 12 years superintendent of the Indiana Masonic Home at Franklin, died after an illness that began with a nervous breakdown on May 11. He passed away at St Vincents hospital in Indianapolis. Funeral services will be at Holloway Hall on Wednesday, with burial in Covington.

Pillar Liquor Haul Ot Libeled By Police Sunday
Officers at Hollensbe filling station on Lafayette avenue investigated a burglary attempt but found no trace of the prowler. Instead they stopped two Negro motorists whose car broke down, recovering one hundred seventy gallons of alcohol in five-gallon tins, a shotgun, and an Austrian army item. One suspect fled. Amateur tight wire artist hurt in fall
