Lebanon Elks Plan Weeklong Street Carnival With Vaudeville
The Lebanon Elks Lodge announces a five night street carnival September 21 to 25 on the north side of the public square. Len Titus heads the committee arranging free acts, vaudeville from the Eth’s circuit, and various rides. Prizes totaling over 3000 include a Chevrolet touring car and a William and Mary dining set.

After a year of work Noblesville Gas Co drills on the Brendel farm northeast of Zionsville to 2800 feet with no gas or oil in paying quantities found. If no findings occur by 5000 feet the well will be abandoned. Another well northeast of Noblesville was abandoned at 1400 feet.
