Mrs. Freeman filed for legal separation from Nathan A. Picevign in the circuit court. She accuses him of violent temper and inhuman treatment, threats to kill, throwing a stove, and endangering a child and others. She seeks to prevent disposals of joint property and restore her maiden name.
Lucas was taken to his home in Vance yesterday where Dr. Coons, an Indianapolis physician, says a canal blood clot from the head injury may cause present weakness but he expects Lucas to be rational within ten days. Attendants restrain him as nurses try to manage his behavior.
Twenty five guests attended a parlor gathering at the home of Mrs Elmer Vanarsdad Vanarudall on Lebanon Street last night. A male quartet provided instrumental numbers and a musical program accompanied by parlor plays. Refreshments included lemonade and cake.

Mrs. Charles T. Bryan and Mr. Bryan announce the approaching marriage of their daughter Martha to Russel H. Milla. The wedding is set for Wednesday evening June 29 at the Bryan home on West Chicago Street.
Reported by seismographs at Georgetown University, a major quake occurred about four thousand miles away from Washington.
