Elmer T. Stark, a former Center township trustee, was elected to Lebanon School Board by the City Council for a three year term, succeeding Lester F. Jones who completes six consecutive years in August. Stark is a Republican. holdovers W. H. Parr Sr. and Stanley Jones are Democrats. The council also received the Public Service Commission of Indiana order dismissing the citys petition to revise electric light rates and approve an optional rate.
