Child Dies After Ingesting Strychnine Pills
Two year old Lois Deane Michaels of Elm Swamp north east of Lebanon died after swallowing about fifteen tablets containing strychnine. She was rushed to Witham hospital where she died fifteen minutes later. The child, born in Putnam county, left parents Harold and unknown Michaels and grandparents Hugh and Burdett, three miles south of Bainbridge. Funeral services will be held at the Burdett home with Bainbridge cemetery burial.
