Joby Walter was thrown from a farm wagon this morning when a wheel dropped into a rut. He suffered eight bruises and a dislocated left ankle while a man and another passenger were also thrown. Larkin Sandlin returned to town after several days out with a carbuncle.
Mr and Mrs J W Batterton of 40 West North Street celebrate sixty years of marriage. Married June 14 1834 in Tipton County they moved to Lebanon in 1882 and have since resided on the same street. Both mark long wedding and birthday anniversaries with friends calling to extend felicitations.

Governor Ralston’s Indiana visit included a reception and university events with a large parade and speeches.
A Bloomington parade in its honor welcomed Governor Samuel M. Ratston who spoke the commencement address for Indiana University Law School graduates. Citizens gave a non partisan ovation Friday night during the aviation reception event in Bloomington.

He owned a four thousand acre Washington ranch and now tends cattle on the land. He noted changes and improvements in Lebanon since his last visit. The WoC T met Thursday with Mrs Mary Hamilton, led by Mrs Fema Benthouser. A program with readings by Miss Magdalene Mitchell followed, and refreshments were served during social hour. Bouquets were shared thanks to HT Neal and Vinson Jones, with every County Farm inmate receiving one.

Prof Dunn, former Lebanon educator and superintendent, is selected to head the Knights Town Home for Sailors Orphans. Born 183? in Hartsville area, Dunn served in Civil War, taught nationwide, and has held Lebanon and Crawfordsville posts. He will begin July 1 with a salary and household allowance. the town trustees note his long service and robust health.
Members of the First Presbyterian church choir of Frankfort and musical friends travel to Lebanon tomorrow afternoon to perform at a Vesper Concert at the Presbyterian Church.

Minnie J. Jones sues George D B Young in Indiana alleging breach of a September 4 1912 sale contract. She claims timber enough to pay most of the purchase price was cut and sold but two week payments and net proceeds were not delivered, plus rent profits misappropriated. She asks for $6500 judgment and a quiet title with injunction.
Rain and cool fronts in the Southwest revived winter wheat after drought. Harvest is advancing in Texas and has moved north into Indiana Illinois Missouri and Kansas with favorable conditions. The overall yield and quality look promising as thrashing continues and no weather complaints are reported.
EL Robbins obtains judgment against Alva and Shirley for 1727.63 in principal and 120 in attorney fees. The case of Henry Lantepya TH and B Traction Co for damages was dismissed with costs paid.
