A severe wind and hail storm swept Danville Indiana and surrounding county on Saturday night causing at least 20600 dollars in damage to buildings barns trees and utility poles. Nathan Haller, age 78, a Civil War veteran from Mechanicsburg, died of heart trouble at 11:50 PM Saturday at his South Evans Street home. He served in Company G, 11th Indiana, and was a member of Lebanon G. A. R. post and United Brethren church. Survived by six children, a brother Alongo, and sister Nannie. funeral held at 2 PM at his residence with Rev. Mrs. Noble. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
