Five Narrowly Escape Death In Auto Accident
Five people riding in an automobile owned and driven by Allen Pauley of near Cyclone narrowly escaped death Sunday evening one mile west of Michigantown after the car ran off a culvert and flipped onto its side in a ditch. The group included Mr and Mrs Pauley their daughter Maggie their grandson Paul Geeke son of Mr and Mrs Bit Cocks of Frankfort and a Lafayette youth Clayton a Maggie Pauley friend. Mrs Pauley and Maggie were the only seriously hurt with a badly crushed right leg and deep puncture wounds from broken glass and vehicle debris.

Farmer dies of hydrophobia after dog bite near Rensselaer
William A. Crisler, a well to do farmer near Rensselaer Indiana, died at 3 30 this morning from hydrophobia eight weeks after being bitten by a stray dog. The dog caused widespread losses in the region and was possibly killed by a local constable. Specialists in Chicago confirmed the diagnosis and advised no relief was possible.
