James R. McCann 73 a Boone County pioneer farmer died at his home on State Road 32 east of Lebanon. Son Robert McCann Boone County Clerk found the body about 11 30 a m Tuesday. Coroner Jack Lenox cited natural causes with heart attack as probable cause. Born January 8 184 in Boone County he married One B Marquess in 1905. He belonged to First Presbyterian Church and Elks Lodge and graduated Culver Military Academy. Longtime farmer and former First National Bank president he served Red Cross wartime drives and was a noted three minute speaker.
