Repairs were made today on the lighting system of the World's Fair after the anchor cable holding a captive balloon struck high tension wires last night, plunging the grounds into darkness. Workmen were hauling in for the night when a strong wind threw the balloon cable against the electric wires, causing a blinding flash and cutting power.
