Three men who broke from Scots County jail during a murder patient drowning attempt were recaptured. Elmer Bray at 22 from Columbus was found in town. Paris June 1. Four foreign ministers will set a date for the next session in the United States later this year. Secretary of State Dean Acheson informed Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Vishinsky that he would have to return to the United States next week to finish the conference. Vishinsky proposed an early peace with Germany and swift removal of all occupation forces, moves seen as propaganda by Western observers. The London conference last December ended when Russia pressed propaganda use rather than negotiating.
