A man believed to be L C Austin of Lebanon was found dead in Memorial Park Michigan City with a .32 revolver by his side. Relatives traveled from Lebanon to identify the body. identification remained uncertain as the condition hindered conclusive evidence. Austin had mailed $6.75 to Mrs. Austin and planned to start work as a steam fitter before his death, leaving a wife and three children.
