Floyd Given Life For Maser Murder
Floyd, convicted killer, receives life imprisonment for the 1973 murder of 15 year old Michael Maser. Judge Charles F. Thompson told him the sentence is for the rest of his natural life with eligibility for parole after 15 years. Maser was found July 25 in a ditch near Whitestown after being seen at the 4-H Fair opening day. Floyd described the night of the crime with Mattingly, stating Maser was threatened at knifepoint and shot after handing over $5. Ottinger also sentenced for breaking and entering with time served and potential further charges in Hamilton County.

Events include a 5 p.m. dinner, 6 8 p.m. bike races, and 8 15 p.m. basketball games featuring Lebanon seniors versus Frankfort regional all stars. Tickets $1 for game only, meals $1.50. Board Of Works Demands Humane Society Name Dog Catcher
Humane Society President Harold Howe told the Board of Works he can obtain a humane officer for the county within a week after applicants were reviewed.
