Murder Mystery Remains Cold in Boone County
Three months after the death of John C. Terhorst a 25 year old Indianapolis salesman, investigators still have no trail. His body was found March 8 near the Kimble Road Bridge two miles northeast of Zionsville. His missing 1966 black Corvette remains unfound and the murder weapon has not been located. The Indianapolis Jaycees have set a reward fund for information leading to an arrest and conviction, totaling 1001 dollars and due to expire March 22, 1972 if unsolved.

Stewart-Warner Says Lockheed Contract Affects Few Workers
Stewart-Warner Corp in Indianapolis says its Four Winds Division would lay off only about three or four workers if the Lockheed L-1011 Tristar contract were cancelled. The heat exchangers unit, a $375,000 item, ships to Lockheed with 181 units ordered and about 10 delivered.

Road Contracts Are Set For Boone and Marion
Indiana State Highway Commission will open bids June 22 for a batch of road and bridge projects in Marion and Boone Counties. Plans include I-65 lighting from 62nd Street to the 334 interchange, traffic signal modernization on I-65 and US 31 in Indianapolis, demolition of nine buildings along I-70 and I-65 inner-city routes, and several bridges on the inner belt and East Street ramps.

Retiring Lebanon Store Manager Plans Swiss Alps Trip
Ted Ottinger who built Scott's Five and 10 in Lebanon into a leading local retailer retires after 43 years in merchandising. He worked 18 years with Scott's prior to coming to Lebanon, helped pioneer self service, and plans a trip to Switzerland with wife Mildred. He will golf, join clubs, and may seek part time work in retail after retirement. His successor will be named soon.
