A crowded scene enveloped Indianapolis as a centennial pageant celebrated a tale of tragedy and resilience. The event showcased elaborate costumes, civic pride, and widespread participation from local groups, with spectators filling streets and grandstands.
President Wilson announces reappointments to the Interstate Commerce Commission. Marston Taylor Rogert of New York and Samuel W. McCudth of Massachusetts are named along with Nichola Welles of New York, as part of the federal commission lineup.
