Ale Hutt a well known figure in state baseball was killed by a ling under a train at Fairmount Virginia the other evening. At his death he was manager and coach for the Normal school in Elwood and about 36 years old. He played here with Frankfort three.

Lebanon Man Hurt In Railway Wreck Near Bedford
A Monon south bound mail train and the Lewisville Bloomington accommodation collided at a sand pit siding four miles south of Bedford. One mail clerk from Bloomington died and two dozen or more were injured. Edward F Riley of the Bronx received serious injuries. W P Beard of this city had a bruised tie. Engineers and firemen escaped unharmed. The wreck buried the accommodation train about 306 yards back.
