Horse Thief Makes Bold Move With Stolen Horse
Two thieves stole a valuable horse from Thomas D. Gooden of Pine Village on Saturday. They moved the animal toward Crawfordsville then shipped it by freight toward Orleans. Gooden and three Pine Village Horse Thief Detective Association members pursued by train and later recovered the horse at Orleans station after the thieves' car was picked up by a southbound freight.
