New Auto Insurance Trend Rewards Good Drivers
A new auto insurance plan rewards safe drivers with discounts up to 20 percent and punishes offenders with higher rates. Originating in Missouri, the system spreads to Indiana and uses a driving record to adjust premiums. It rewards three years without accidents or moving violations, with declining discounts for violations or accidents. The piece reflects on broader social warnings about communism and intellectuals amid this changing insurance landscape.
