Indianapolis June 8 Sullivan county Judge Norval Ke Harris did not appear in municipal court to answer drunkenness charges. Judge Howard ordered Harris re-arrested and held on a $100 bond after a May 25 continuance. Harris, 58, attended a World War II veterans convention in St. Louis, and his attorney said he aimed for a continuance but could not reach the judge. He faced forgery embezzlement and a bad-check charge in his own court and earlier led a committee with Paul Robeson protesting a New York Communist trial.

Extension Of Draft Law Gets Committee OK

Truck Destroyed in Jamestown Fire at Ellingwood Lumber

Delinquency Charge Filed Against Thorntown Man
Charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor were filed yesterday against 19 year old William Ware ren of Thorntown. He is alleged to have disappeared with a 16 year old Thorntown girl after the couple left Monday night, according to Prosecuting Attorney Charles F Thompson. The girl's father filed the charges.
