First Boone Farm fatality claims five year old Linda Revell
A five year old girl, Linda Lee Revell, was killed when she fell into the wheel of a wagon drawn by a tractor on the Revell farm six miles southwest of Lebanon Boone County. The death, ruled a skull fracture, occurred as her brother David drove the tractor to the barn. Linda is survived by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, a grandmother and great grandmother, and maternal grandparents. Funeral services are set for Friday at 10 30 a.m. at Russell Hitch Funeral Home in Lebanon with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

A fire at the Franklin Memorial Swimming Pool destroyed a storage and dressing area in Franklin Indiana early today. The blaze began in the northern section at 1 15 a m and triggered about 30 explosions as gas and chemical bottles blew up. Firefighters confined the fire to one end but caused extensive damage forcing the pool to close likely for the week. A truck four lawn mowers and maintenance tools were destroyed. Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's office were called to determine the blaze cause.
