Mrs Mary Allen Reed Bowman, 2 years old, native of Dover, died in Culver Hospital Crawfordsville after months of illness. Born December 14, 1867, she married Oliver W Bowman October 14, 1889. They lived near New Ross before moving to Beckville area. Survived by husband, son Earl D Bowman of Shannondale, daughter Mrs Hazel Beebe of near Shannondale, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Stole Everything For His Marriage Except The Bride
Grand Rapids Michigan June 7. Frack Regney, 19, stole everything for his marriage except the bride. The ring to Marilyn carried a bad check in Michigan City Indiana. In Decatur Indiana he obtained a wedding license and paid the justice with bad checks. He then stole a car for the honeymoon. Kenney was arrested with his bride in Elizabethtown Kentucky and brought back, yesterday sentenced to two years in prison. His wife immediately sued for divorce.

Daisy Belle McMannis Dies in Indianapolis at 76
Former Elizaville resident Daisy Belle McMannis aged 76 died yesterday at her Indianapolis home after a four week illness caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. Born May 10, 1874 in Whitestown, she lived near Elizaville from 1902 to 1945 with husband Theodore McMannis who died in 1944. Survived by three children, a son Walter McMannis, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, plus eight grandchildren and two deceased children. Services set for Friday at Powell Chapel with two pastors officiating. burial in Oak Hill cemetery. The body moved from Russell and Hitch funeral home to 3745 Creston Drive Indianapolis, for calling until noon Friday.
