Fire destroys Citizens Light and Water plant at Zionsville
A store room fire at the Citizens Light and Water plant in Zionsville destroyed the building and lumber yards, damaged the Hussey and Hussey hardware store, and threatened nearby residences. Bucket brigades formed by nearly the entire town fought the blaze, aided by a Well water source and a limited hose system.
