A pair of burglaries and one theft are under investigation in Lebanon and near Thorntown. At Advance Farm Structure Co. in Lebanon 1200 West South St burglars entered offices and warehouse and took 80 to 100 dollars a wheelbarrow and tools, with the break in noticed at 8 45 a.m. In Thorntown area David Michael Construction Co. of Frankfort reports a lock broken from a tool trailer and a chainsaw taken, no other items missing. Mrs Ralph Jones Lebanon reports a compass and fender skirts stolen from a 1964 Oldsmobile since Sunday.

UPI notes that U S 41 fatalities rose to 32 this year and Indiana deaths to 597, with Mrs. Nina Edwards of Veedersburg dying in Danville after a collision north of Veedersburg.
