The will of the late Miss Cora M Robinson, a retired registered nurse who died October 6, 1949, has been contested for over a year. The document provides $500 each to the Boone County Cancer Society and Presbyterian church, with about $1900 to the Salvation Army and Boone County Red Cross Chapter.
In Panmunium Korea a note from Maj Gen William Ko face san, Allied delegate, demanded an immediate accounting of nearly 1,000 UN soldiers captured by the Communists but not on prisoner lists. Tuesday McD Ernest Ro Stewart of 404 North Meridian won a $5 Chamber of Commerce gift certificate as yesterday's most courteous driver. Stewart received the honor for yielding right of way to another motorist who proceeded through an automatic signal at Lebanon and Main streets while the caution signal was active, averting a possible accident.
Mrs Harriet J. Winans announces special Home Economics 4 H awards for a county and state demonstrat ion contest. Prizes include a sterling silver medal for the champion individual and two medals for the champion team, with demonstrations ranging from bread baking to canned vegetables. County and district winners may enter state or national contests, with a fall Mack Crop Show at the state level. The County Home Economics 4 H contest will be July 8 at Lebanon High School, with up to 4 vegetable demonstrations and junior leader judging by project area.
