Fatality at Babb's Crossing Involving Interurban Car
Mrs. Plost Richey Fall aged 21 or 22 killed when an interurban freight car struck a horse and her father Japves Richey near Mechanicsburg. The accident occurred about 6:30 AM while walking toward Henry Lawrence's residence. Motorist A W Boston assisted. Mrs Fall died at the scene. Mr Richey sustained injuries treated later. funeral arrangements not yet set.

Bootlegger Released From Crawfordsville Jail
Albert Hall colored and stout, released by order of Mayor Wert on Monday afternoon after serving 150 days of a 486 day bootlegging sentence. He attempted two jailbreaks including a rope escape from a third floor cell, was injured, and later fled on a moving train before being recaptured at Thorntown. He plans to move to Thorntown to live.

Missing Man Found After Brief Absence In Indiana
William Steelsmith of Sheridan Ind was spotted in Indianapolis Tuesday night taking bread and sugar from a dairy taproom. He has been missing from a county infirmary near Lebanon since Sunday night and is described as unbalanced. He will be returned to the county by Indianapolis police. Also noted are local farm notices and a Purdue related appointment, with reports of county agents and agricultural federation activities.

William Freas of Frankfort sent home a monster Muskelunge from Brevoort Lake Michigan. The fish measured five feet, weighed thirty pounds, and its size spurred plans to mount the head by Beasley and Parr of Lebanon. The box also contained rock bass shared among friends, as Freas builds a growing reputation as a fisherman.
