In Chicago FBI agents arrested George Moon and Sam Hubbard, alleged members of a steal-to-order theft ring, for the May 21 murder of Yvette Staton in Indianapolis. The victims were tied to government witness testimony in a Gary narcotics case. Miss Staton and her partner were later released on bond after agreeing to testify.

Three New Deaths Recorded In Indiana Traffic Toll
United Press International reports Indiana’s 1972 traffic fatalities stood at 572, with one new fatal in the first hours of the weekend. Jeff R. Pursley, 20, of Farmland, died when his car left U.S. 27 near Winchester and overturned. Lucy Gruwell, 81, of LaFontaine, was killed Friday afternoon in a collision on Indiana 15 at Treaty. Brenda Yoder, 18, of Goshen, died Friday afternoon when her car hit a truck on Indiana 15 north of Goshen in Elkhart County.
