Bus And Taxicab In Crash Eight Injured
Chicago eight people were seriously hurt when a city bus from the Chicago Transit Authority struck a taxicab, careened through a gasoline station, and knocked a house from its foundation. The bus driver and five passengers, the cab driver, and one house occupant were injured. The home of Dominick Quinn, 65, was shoved eight feet, a porch collapsed, and a nearby 3000 gallon gasoline tank truck sat close by as a potential second disaster was narrowly averted. Two cab passengers and another house occupant escaped injury.
