Witnesses testifying in the Rhodius case describe his speech as sound and his condition improving though questions about his sanity persist. Doctors say the condition is physical, not mental, with Rhodius asserting a conspiracy against him and recalling his marriage claims and past affairs.
The hall will be relocated about one hundred feet to South and used as a poultry hall. Directors voted unanimously against using the fair grounds for a ten day Chautauqua citing prior rental for pastorage, insurance risks, and need for police protection. Some Chanters may seek Fairview park for manship in Indiana. A sermon by Mr. Robinson honored the order, followed by Miss Frances Hendricks singing Holy City. Ritual services at Oak Hill cemetery closed the gathering.
At Central Osited Brethren church last night children’s day exercises occurred during a storm. Harmon, a section hand, stood near a transmitter wire feeding a transformer. damp air carried current to him though he did not touch the wire, the shock traversed his body from head to feet and burned the head.
Boone county fair directors met Saturday to discuss fair matters. They voted to enlarge the amphitheatre by three feet and extend the east side by forty feet. The meeting considered grounds for a Chautauqua event and other business.

Charles Harmon, son of James Harmon of Woodside, was killed at the interurban power house south of the city at 12 05 Saturday in a peculiar accident. Weather conditions at Camp were blamed for the tragedy. He reportedly received 23000 volts after going too near a transmitter wire. The Copperhead Crescent reports the incident.
The deceased, about twenty one, came from Whitestown two years ago with his parents. Former city street worker under Supt Fudge the man was praised as hardworking. Survived by parents, two brothers Ora and James Jr., three sisters Mrs John Cully, an unmarried sister at home, and a married sister in Whitestown. Funeral held at 11:30 a m today at the Methodist church in Whitestown with interment at Jones cemetery.
Marvin Kuhns, once pardoned outlaw after an 1905 clemency, is found dead with a bullet wound in Van Wert City Prison. A pursuit from St Marys area, aided by the sheriff and locals, ended when the thief fired during a running fight near Cavett. he was mortally wounded.
In a ten inning morning game the Indians defeated the Crawfordsville Sluggers 7 to 6 after three ties. Walton and Gullion formed the Indians battery while Seking and Stevens worked for Crawfordsville. The club opened practice this afternoon and will likely play a practice game this week and a pair of games at Muncie Saturday and Sunday. Lebanon and Frankfort also schedule a June 16 meeting after yesterday's Mechanic sburg draw ended in a forfeit 9 to 0.
Guy M. Voris resigns from the Insurance department of the Knights of Pythias and buys a Jackson Mississippi job printing plant. He takes charge today of the finely equipped shop, bringing practical experience and strong local support to the venture.
EC Bullion was renominated and reelected county superintendent after a caucus contest with no opposition. RB C Gullion was selected this morning by unanimous vote, placed in nomination by Trustee Potts of Union township, with Republican trustees not opposing.
In a caucus at the Auditor's office Democrats backed Gullion for county superintendent. Twenty-two ballots were counted, five nominees were listed, and Gullion finally secured the nomination with a 4 to 2 to 1 tally. His first four year term ends. a second term will be for four years, and his past work earns high praise.
Yesterday morning at the home of the bride's parents, Cloyd M. Worrell and Miss Zella King were married by Rev. A. H. Allen in a ceremony attended only by immediate relatives. The couple then visited Mr. and Mrs. James Worrell and received best wishes from friends.
Tomorrow afternoon from two to six Mra J B Bratton and Magy J B Morrison will give an A Home at the residence of Morrison on North Meridian street In the evening Mr and Mrs J Morrison will entertain about eight guests at their home
