Ex-Con Poses As Engineer On State Work
Loganaport Indiana hospital officials report an ex convict released May 10 posed as a state official. Charles Patrick Bradley 47 claimed to be a consulting engineer sent by the Indiana House Ways and Means Committee to study a 1.8 million hospital project. Bradley presented an engraved card reading Bradley Engineering Indianapolis. Hospital superintendent Dr Ernest Fogel phoned a State Mental Health Department engineer who said the man was an imposter. Bradley had previously posed as an Atomic Energy Commission engineer May 11 12 after release from prison and incurred a hotel bill. He was arrested previously on vagrancy charges and ordered to leave Logansport. Fogel noted the man gave his real name and did not try to obtain money.

Dynamite Found Near Greenwood Home of Teamster Leader
Seven sticks of dynamite and two blasting caps were found on a vacant lot beside Lloyd Reisner's Greenwood home. A 14 year old neighbor alerted Reisner, police evacuated nearby homes, and an Army bomb squad from Fort Benjamin Harrison said the fuse was near detonation. The explosives were taken to Camp Atterbury for detonation. Reisner leads Local 135, involved in a lengthy strike against Indiana Refrigerated Lines of Muncie.

Lebanon instructor Rosemary Brown posted a 500 cash bond and was freed until arraignment after being charged with cruelty to a child. The 13 year old nephew suffered contusions and abrasions from a paddle incident, later attributed to a bicycle fall. X rays showed no broken bones. Brown, a Central School first grade teacher, has taught four years and said the injuries were not from beating.
