Kalamazoo, Mich. An autopsy shows Jeannie Stuleton a 9 year old girl was harmed and killed by a sex deviate. Her body found Wednesday in lonely pines 15 miles north of Kalamazoo after being last seen 10 days earlier. Relatives recall a sunny disposition. Police intensified the search as farm children discovered the bruised body near a village. Her dress and hair were noted, and an abortion reference appeared in the report. The Lebanon High School gym was filled as 96 graduates in cap and gown received certificates at the annual commencement. The program, produced entirely by students, had no valedictorian or speaker. Sue Kinkaid introduced three student speakers, and Anne Weddle led invocations.
CHICAGO Conk county sheriff reports deputies used flame throwers Wednesday to burn a one acre patch of marijuana growing wild near Leniiit towne. Sheriff Josph D Lohman says the crop was cultivated and harvested to make illicit cigarettes worth up to a million dollars. Deputies had surveilled the area for about three weeks to trap the grower.
Alfred W. Halk dies after five years of illness. Born in Tennessee March 34 1870 he lived in Whitestown Brownsburg area and near Fayette. Survived by daughter Mrs Fihet Bragg son Arley two half brothers and one half sister seven grandchildren. Funeral Friday 2 pm at daughter’s home near Brownsburg with Rev Claude Eaton officiating. Two cars driven by Robert Couch age 17 and David Granger age 16, both of Lebanon, collided on North Lebanon streets across from the high school yesterday morning as Granger pulled away from the curb. Property damage was slight.
Mary Murray a Boone County native born May 4 1870 died at home after long illness. She married John M Meek in 1890 and John Murray in 1900 died 1915. Survived by three daughters Mary Zachary Edna Canada Anna Richardson a son Charles J Murray stepdaughter Stella Miller a brother John sister Catherine Meadows. five grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral at Mt Zion Methodist Church with burial in the local cemetery.
Lebanon student Don Captinger assists Ernest Scott in directing an interpretive reading of Stephen Vincent Benet’s John Brown’s Body at Wabash College Great Hall Campus Center. The free event begins at 7:14 PM and features a 12 voice Walsh Glee Club chorus under Robert Mitcham.
A downtown Dallas building collapsed on Elm Street injuring eight and killing three people Luther Gonzalez 22 Alvis Simmons 40 and William Bo Reed 42 all from Dallas Rescue crews searched the rubble as a music store and cafe were toppled by the falling structure bricks damaged trolley wires and debris closed the street near the Fox Theater and a new bank building.
Funeral services for Mrs Salita Garcia 38 wife of Frank Garcia Route 3 will be held at Pharr Texas, her former home, on Saturday. Selida Garcia died here yesterday.

A 64 year old woman, Winifred W. L. Bacon of Pemerion, was found dead on a beach near her summer home in Toms River. State police said two Doberman Pinschers, a male and a female, attacked while she walked them, ripping her left arm and shoulder and causing a massive hemorrhage from dog bites per the coroner. The dogs, not leashed, were impounded after authorities arrived.
