Squire N A Perrill received word from son Lieutenant Commander Harlan P Perrill that he has arrived at Hampton Roads on May 2. Lieutenant Colander Perrill has been aboard the cruiser Tennessee stationed at Smyrna for five months, with the ship to be moved to Port Jefferson New York for repairs. Perrill traveled from Hampton Roads to Philadelphia where he was met by his wife. He is entitled to relief from sea duty and may be assigned to the Boston Navy Yards.

Freight wreck kills two on Big Four east of Stockwell
Sixteen cars derailed when freight No. 61 on the Big Four ran off a down grade one mile east of Stockwell at 6 20 Sunday morning. Two men died, one believed named Jack Kaufman of Denver.
