Turks Rescue Hostage Kill Wound Gunmen in Kartal
In Kartal Turkey security forces fought two gunmen and freed 14 year old hostage Sibel Erkan after a siege that left one gunman dead and the other gravely wounded. The girl was reunited with her father a Turkish army major as crowds demanded punishment for the attackers. Munir Cayan the other victim died after being shot earlier.
