Kentucky jail prisoner hanged after midnight lynching
Six masked men seized Walter Merrick in Princeton and dragged him from his jail cell to a country road where he was hanged to a tree near Cadiz. Merrick, 40, held on dynamiting charges against J. M. Pool’s Hopson store, was captured after the jailer was bound. a trial was scheduled for June 13, with Pool injured in the blast and a 13 year old bystander hurt.

Youth held for taking gas from parked car

Trapeze Injury to Spectator at Tyre Show Grounds
Flossie Cory a 17 year old spectator was injured leaving the Tyre show grounds when a car struck and snapped a guy wire sustaining a trapeze. She suffered a six inch scalp wound fourteen or sixteen stitches were used and a broken right collar bone. She was taken to Witham hospital for X ray and treatment.

Four Louisville residents injured in Lebanon area crash
Four residents of Louisville Kentucky were injured in a two vehicle collision three miles south of Lebanon on U S Road 52. The Ford sedan carrying Melvin Linette and J A Miller overturned after skidding on rain slick pavement.
