Walter Bratton's nine cow Holstein herd led Boone County Cow Testing Association in milk and ranked fourth in butterfat for May. E O Holliday of Lafayette, tester, reports average production per cow at 1187 pounds of milk and 41.5 pounds of butterfat. The high cow yielded 15655 pounds of milk and 59.5 pounds of butterfat, while another cow produced 1101.5 pounds of milk and 33 pounds of butterfat. Five herd cows surpassed 40 pounds of butterfat.
