Kirklin Man Severely Hurt While Starting Car
Cecil Park of Rural Route 1 Kirklin suffered a severe wrist injury when a failed car starter prompted him to crank the Ford engine. The crank struck his right wrist breaking both bones, swelling and misalignment. He received first aid from Dr. Bowers, was taken to Frankfort for X rays, then sent home.

Boone county women eligible for national sororities will meet Friday at 4 PM at the public library to organize a local Pan-Hellenic Association.
