Pikes Peak Road State Convention Invited to Lebanon
John Huber of the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce invited the Pikes Peak Ocean-to-Ocean Highway Association to hold the state convention in Lebanon. Delegates from Fountain, Montgomery, Hamilton, Madison, Delaware and Randolph counties are expected plus others. The main aim is to push paving the highway across the state and create an unbroken Atlantic to Pacific route within two to three years. Boone County association officers were elected today with Claud R. Crooks as president and Herschel Johnson as vice president and Ver Myers as secretary treasurer. Around fifty members exist in Boone County.
