Charles W Scott, ex clerk, dies at 78 in Indiana
Charles W. Scott 78 former clerk of the Boone circuit court and longtime Lebanon merchant and church worker died while visiting his daughter in Warsaw Indiana. He served in two Indiana regiments during the Civil War and later held many fraternal and community offices including in the Methodist church and several lodges. He leaves a wife and daughter in Warsaw a son in Warsaw and two sisters. He was a prominent state figure active in veterans and fraternal orders.
