The Lebanon Kiwanis Club heard the Lebanon High School Concert Choir present a Christmas program under Mrs William T Blackwell with students performing carols and Advent themes. Narratives by Steve Bur Susan Gullion and Karen added, as did an encore Carol of the Bells. Accompanists were Dotty Sheryl Hine and Ann. The event featured a new tune Snow Beautiful Snow and the audience gave a deserved ovation.

Little Lebanon Boy Home From Hospital For Christmas
Three year old Mike Taylor of 710 South Evans Street Lebanon is set to spend Christmas at home after recovery from a severely fractured leg. Doctors cleared him for release from Witham Hospital, where he had been in traction since Thanksgiving. The family has received about 150 Christmas cards from county residents and children, with further gifts such as stuffed pandas and coloring books arriving. Mrs. Clarence Taylor thanks the community for the generosity as Mike hopes for a toy drum to join his siblings in their family band. Santa’s arrival looms on Christmas Eve.
