Youth Held In Theft Of Gas And Tools
A 19 year old Lebanon youth was taken into custody at gunpoint after being caught taking gasoline and tools from a farm house. Philbeck and a teenage companion faced charges for taking gasoline from the Sam Herr residence south of Lebanon. Herr reported a heavy loss of tools last month and found an auto with a hose hooked to an overhead gas container. Four youths were seen filling the tank. three fled as Herr arrived, Philbeck stayed in the car with tools and a chain. A second youth was found later. another was identified, and a fourth remained at large. One youth is said to be a parolee from the Boys School. The juvenile was released to parents.

Mrs Gladys Bymaster mother of Mrs Ganelle Loveless of this city was found dead of exposure near Ladoga at 8 15 am Friday after an all night search by neighbors Montgomery county officers town marshals and Civil Defense. She had been missing since Thursday evening and had been in declining health. Death was due to exposure. body found in a field near a farm house with one shoe nearby. Funeral set for 2 pm Monday at Roachdale Christian Church with burial in Ladoga Cemetery.

In Indianapolis a man Lewis Cummins aged 35 and Nora Hendrix aged 24 drowned when their car veered off a parkway and flipped into a canal.
