Members of the First Baptist Church of Lebanon celebrate a century of community service with special services and a former pastors’ appearance. The centennial program includes an historical drama with 60 participants and ongoing observances through next week. The church began December 12, 1873, moved to a brick East Main Street building after 1874, and dedicated the present structure May 11, 1913 at a total cost of 34,000. Current pastor Rev. Raymond King has led since 1971 with a 630 resident membership.
