Standard Foods will open a 16000 square foot Lebanon location on North Lebanon Street in Parkwood at 9 a.m. Tuesday December 10. The store features New Orleans style decor, an extensive produce section, a full nation foods department, and a drug department. Don Brandenburg is general contractor and Frank Harden will be general store manager. Employment will rise to 30 35 Lebanon hires.

Overseer Homer A Tomlinson dies at 76 in New York
Bishop Homer A Tomlinson, moral overseer of the Church of God and a son of founder A J Tomlinson, died after a lingering illness at Veterans Administration Hospital. A World War I captain and former language overseer, he led church activities while lecturing at Adrian College and Delhi College.
