Two Men Arrested for Liquor Offenses on State Road No 6
Carl Wicks and Charles Holmes, with Chicago addresses, were arrested by State Policemen Bridges and Losey on State Road No 6 at Trader's Point between Indianapolis and Lebanon. Officers found two quarts of wine, two gallons of alcohol, and several quart bottles of whisky in the car. Both men face Indianapolis blind tiger and transportation of intoxicating liquor charges. Plans for the first Boone County farmers picnic are nearly complete for Mempris Park on Thursday August 20. Boone County Farm Bureau will stage the event with A W Porver announcing that Kiam H Settle will be the chief speaker.
