Battery C and the 139th regimental band arrived at Camp Knox safely and about on schedule time. The Lebanon station vividly brought back the scenes of 1918 as the outfit entrained. The band, thirty six musicians strong under Warrant Officer James Hoy, and the crack artillery unit of 68 men and four officers under Captain Claude Crooks, left Lebanon aboard a troop train.

Woman Injured As Autos Wreck Near Lebanon
Turner Kinser of south of Lebanon is jailed for an upcoming city court hearing on a drunk driving charge after his car collided with a Ford driven by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pierce of Frankfort on the Indianapolis highway near Copeland and Neese road. Mrs. Pierce suffered severe head and facial injuries. Mr. Pierce had minor injuries. Kinser was pinned in the wreckage, bruised but not seriously hurt, and a bottle of liquor alleged to be from Kinser was recovered by police. Mrs. Pierce received medical treatment before returning home.

Survived by widow Frances A Davis and three children Ada Antone Forest Brush and Eva Cox with three deceased siblings. Funeral 3 pm Tuesday from the residence with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
