In Frankport Indiana on April 29 a 28 year old night switchman named Bailey was badly injured when a switch car jumped rails and dragged him under its wheels. He suffered a crushed right arm with possible amputation, a broken right knee, and severe wounds to the left foot and body. He was taken to Palmer hospital where surgeons performed the amputation early today. Bailey lives at 403 West Morrison Street with his wife and two children.
