Despondent Indiana Girl Attempts Suicide at Home
Zella Grimsley, seventeen, of 2778 English avenue in Indianapolis, tried to kill herself with a large calibre revolver held to her side. The bullet glanced off a rib and exited behind the left shoulder blade. She appeared fatally wounded until Dr. C. C. Lukenbill reported the wound not life threatening, with risk of blood poisoning developing. Her act followed parental reprimand for a misdemeanor.
